SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 48

Congratulating the Parkersburg High School Big Reds girls' swim
team for winning the 2002 state championship.
Whereas, The Parkersburg High School Big Reds girls' swim team
participated in the state swim meet held at the West Virginia
University Natatorium in Morgantown on February 15 and 16, 2002;
and
Whereas, The Parkersburg High School girls' swim team, under
the direction of coach Linda Alt, along with the outstanding
sportsmanship and team spirit of each of the team members, helped
bring the state championship to the home of the Big Reds;
therefore, be it
Resolved by the Senate:
That the Senate hereby congratulates the Parkersburg High
School girls' swim team for winning the 2002 state championship;
and, be it
Further Resolved, That the Clerk is hereby directed to forward
a copy of this resolution to coach Linda Alt and members of the
Parkersburg High School girls' swim team.
